Adding lemon to water is a great way to stay hydrated and boost flavor. And there are health benefits too. In fact, lemon water has been shown to aid in digestion, help prevent kidney stones, and boost intake of vitamin C and potassium.
Squeezing half a lemon into your water is all it takes. But if you want to be a little extra this summer, try adding lemon ice cubes to your water too!
Making these cubes couldn’t be any easier, yet it adds such a fun flair to drinks. Not only does it look pretty, but as the ice cube melts, extra lemon is released keeping your drink flavorful. From the first sip to the last, your drink remains cooling and hydrating.
Lemon ice cubes are a festive and fun addition to any drink, not just water. Try them in iced tea and cocktails or add them to infused water or fruit-infused lemonade. Finally, an ice cube that adds flavor instead of watering drinks down!
How To Make Lemon Ice Cubes
Simply add lemon peel and a squirt of fresh lemon juice to each section of an ice cube tray. Fill the tray with water and freeze.
