Does your dog have a birthday coming up? Maybe he finally tackled housetraining or learned a new trick. Whatever the special occasion, treat your dog with something special โ Peanut Butter and Banana Pupcakes!
These dog-friendly cupcakes look and smell so tasty that their humans might be tempted to give them a try. They are safe for humans, but do not contain added sugar and are meant for dogs.
These pupcakes are peanut butter and banana flavored but we also snuck in some carrot shreds for a veggie boost. They provide an additional texture that dogs seem to love. Carrots a low-calorie, high-fiber snack for dogs, so why not?!
Bananas are another low-calorie snack that dogs really enjoy in moderation. In addition to fiber, they’re also high in potassium and vitamins.

Other pupcake recipes call for dog-friendly frosting. To keep things simple, we used canned whipped cream. It makes decorating a cinch. Whipped cream is safe for dogs, but do save it for special occasions only.
Top off your pupcakes with a small dog treat for the ultimate puppy dessert. There’s no way your dog know it’s a special day when you lay one of these pupcakes in front of his nose!

My mini schnauzer turns 14 soon I’m have about 4 of her friends over & plan to make these pupcakes.
There woll be about 8-10 human guests & I plan to make 2 more recipes of the cupcakes for them. How much sugar could I add to a recipe to make it more tasty to the humans? Also what would be a good substitute for the carrots? Our neighborhood market has very little fresh produce. They dont have plain pumpkin puree either. Would it be weird to use canned carrots?
Many thanks in advance for your advice! Happy Holidays!

We aren’t really sure about the sugar increase for humans. You will probably have to play around with it. Maybe 1/2 cup. You could use canned carrots if you have to. I would just make sure they are drained and not to use the liquid from the can. We hope your pup has a wonderful birthday!
Adorable!
Hi, I have a grooming salon and Iโm looking for something different to give to our furry friends for Christmas. I was wondering if these cupcakes can be frozen? If so I can start baking now, we will have about 400 Christmas appointments. Thank you.
Yes, you should be able to freeze them! I love that you are making Christmas gifts for all your furry friends!
How do you store Peanut Butter and Banana Pupcakes and for how long will they keep?
You can put them in an air-tight container for about 4-6 days.
